Hello I'm Richard -- -- university professor at Clarkson University. My expertise in chemistry. Covers a wide area applications. From ceramics to imaging to printing to menaces and and polymer composites for use -- -- even to negate the radar interpretation by wind turbines and so on. Here behind me is a poster of one of the topics that I've really been excited about recently. And that is medicinal chemistry aspect of our work. Where in -- -- two different ways. Making -- -- -- or particles with receptors on them. Were able to -- in some very commonly overdose therapeutics. Cocaine and -- even able to -- to the bio -- rice and so we feel that we in this worker anyway we have some entries into possible future antidotes for these overdoses. In another area of work much more materials related. We're working on but particles that aren't -- to -- for security reasons. And one of them is the particle having DNA attached. -- which then will allow us to determine where. A particular vehicle or a person comes from. That might be a danger to somebody. And also along this line that we have some work going on. Where if you consider filters in buildings that are screening. Air coming in from outside. If there is let's say some sort of an attack code toxic gas or material. Then that we're designing materials that if the are associated with filter membranes. That if we activate those filters those particles they will release and neutralize -- For the toxic gas that might be drawn into the building through the filters. Or OK all right thank you. If we continue this I mentioned something about radar and wind turbines. There's a major emphasis now in regards to problems of wind turbines. Interrupting FAA whether in military. Flight control -- weather reporting. And so we make particles that have the capability of making the wind turbines stealthy. Then it means that the FAA people landing and taking off airplanes. Would not have a doppler effect to the -- wind turbine propellers. And things like that. Thank you very much.
