This award goes to honor the manufacturer which best fulfills the customers needs in respiratory protection concerning the aspects of safety, ease of use, technical features, comfort, and design.
The rating is given based on two studies from Frost & Sullivan concerning personal protective equipment. In these studies, both users and purchasers of equipment throughout the United States and Europe rated manufacturers on how satisfied they were with the products and solutions that the manufacturers offered for various segments. In the area of respiratory protection, the respiratory protective devices offered from Dräger were rated number one out of eleven manufacturers. Companies like 3M and Tyco/Scott were among those evaluated.
