SINGULUS sells vacuum deposition tools to semiconductor sector

03/07/2012

March 7, 2012 -- Singulus Technologies Aktiengesellschaft (SINGULUS) received 2 orders for its TIMARIS vacuum deposition system from the semiconductor industry.

SINGULUS plans to supply vacuum deposition tools for magnetic random access memory (MRAM) wafer fabrication as part of its strategic growth. The company has sold four TIMARIS deposition systems in different configurations. SINGULS spent years of research and development work on vacuum deposition of semiconductor elements to grow in this sector, noted Dr.-Ing. Stefan Rinck, CEO, Singulus Technologies Aktiengesellschaf.

MRAM is a nonvolatile memory (NVM) technology with fast write-and-read speed and high energy efficiency, suiting mobile data devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs.

SINGULUS provides manufacturing tools for solar, optical disk, and semiconductor sectors. Learn more at http://www.singulus.de/.
